Our Story…

From the team who brought you the award winning As You Like It, Newton Hall and the Joiner’s Arms, the William de Percy Inn & Crêperie is the latest offering from North-East hospitality group, the Apartment Group.

Opened June 2016, The William de Percy Inn & Crêperie is the result of the transformation and extensive renovation of one of Otterburn’s oldest and iconic buildings, The Percy Arms Hotel which closed in 2012. The old public house and hotel has been developed into two fantastically unique venues, the William de Percy and also a one of a kind, exclusive use wedding venue, dubbed Le Petit Château.

Named for the Norman baron of the same name, the French inspired gastropub and boutique hotel follows suit with Apartment Group’s other award winning venues, which are all renowned for their high quality food, drink and customer experience. The 11th century French noble, William de Percy is well known for establishing the influential House of Percy, who have been Earls and Dukes of Northumberland for over 600 years. There is a rich history in the county surrounding the Percy family; not least through the pub’s building itself that dates back the 17th century.
